Revvo is an adaptive focus timer designed to help people enter flow naturally and protect it once it begins. Traditional timers often create pressure by starting before users are mentally ready and interrupting them once momentum has formed. Revvo instead adapts session length to the user’s cognitive rhythm in real time. By tilting the device right when focus is strong or left when it is slipping, users can adjust sessions without breaking concentration. Over time, these intuitive micro-interactions recalibrate the timer across different modes of work, making Revvo increasingly personalized. A filling progress gauge replaces the usual countdown, reframing time as momentum gained rather than time lost, offering positive reinforcement while reducing timer anxiety.

TOOL

Focus isn’t constant. It moves in waves.

Flow takes time to enter.

Interruptions reset momentum.

Attention naturally rises, dips, and recovers.

The problem isn’t time. It’s rhythm

Problem

Traditional timers ignore individual work rhythms, abruptly interrupting focus and creating timer anxiety.

Opportunity

Design a timer that synchronizes with the user’s cognitive rhythm rather than enforcing a preset duration.

Solution

Revvo is a numberless timer that learns your task rhythm over time, keeping you in flow without timer anxiety or forced stops.

Deep work needs a long warm-up, so Revvo starts at 50 min and adapts up to 90.

Task work thrives in short bursts, so Revvo starts at 20 min and caps at 35.

Creative work rises and dips unpredictably, so Revvo starts at 30 min and adapts up to 60.

OFF.

Choose a mode before you begin

Rotate the back face to select, Deep, Task, or Creative. Each starts with a tuned baseline, then learns your own rhythm over time.

Roll to adapt

Tune the session now. Baseline learns for next time.

Baseline is your default session length.

Each mode begins with a baseline. Every roll becomes feedback, updating the current block and refining your baseline over time. Sessions gradually align to your working rhythm.

Roll to adjust

Distracted?

Session softens when focus dips.

Roll it to the Left

20% Decrease from baseline

Personalization through simple rolls.

Roll to signal focused or distracted. Over time, Revvo uses those inputs to calibrate each mode’s baseline to your natural rhythm.

Focused?

Extend work block when momentum builds.

Roll it to the RIGHT

20% Increase from baseline

Sound cues that guide, not distract

Revvo uses a two stage chime instead of a demanding alarm. A single soft chime marks the end of your block. If you are still in flow, do nothing and the session extends. A firmer double chime follows only after sustained work as a protective hard stop against burnout.

Session Completed?

Roll it to the Back

Or want to Extend?

Continue with your flow by doing nothing.

Need to Pause?

Flip upside down to pause – no reset, no penalty.

Flip back to continue

Bathroom Break? Need to Pick up a Call? No Problem.
