Revvo is an adaptive focus companion designed to help people enter flow naturally and protect it once it begins. Instead of rigid timers or productivity metrics, Revvo uses soft visual cues and simple physical gestures to understand how each work session feels in the moment. By rolling the object, users quietly communicate whether their focus is strong, slipping, or complete, allowing the system to adjust without interrupting concentration. Over time, these small interactions teach Revvo an individual’s natural rhythm across deep, task-based, and creative work. The result is a calm, personalized experience where time is felt rather than measured, and focus becomes something you grow into rather than force.

TOOL

The problem isn’t time. It’s rhythm

Before designing Revvo, I looked at how people actually focus. Rigid timers like Pomodoro assume neat 25-5 cycles, but real concentration ramps up slowly, peaks briefly, and can be shattered by a buzzer. Remove timers and the opposite happens: starting feels heavy, time drifts, and sessions end in guilt instead of clarity. In both cases the tool is out of sync with how attention naturally rises, dips, and recovers. This is the mismatch Revvo is designed to solve.

Focus isn’t constant. It moves in waves.

Flow takes time to enter.

Interruptions reset momentum.

Attention naturally rises, dips, and recovers.

Modes set your starting point

Switching modes is effortless. No scrolling, no choosing minutes — just rotate the back face. Deep, Task, and Creative each start with a focus range tuned to that type of work, and over time Revvo learns your own rhythm within each one.

Deep work needs a long warm-up, so Revvo starts at 50 min and adapts up to 90.

Task work thrives in short bursts, so Revvo starts at 20 min and caps at 35.

Creative work rises and dips unpredictably, so Revvo starts at 30 min and adapts up to 60.

OFF.

Baseline learns your rhythm

Baseline starts as the default session length for each mode. As you use Revvo, your rolls update it over time, so each mode adapts to your personal working rhythm.

Adjust your session without breaking flow.

Each roll is feedback. Revvo adjusts the current block and updates your baseline, your typical session length for that mode, over time.

Roll to adjust

Roll to adjust

Focused?

Extend work block when momentum builds.

Roll it to the RIGHT

20% Increase from baseline

Complex focus personalization, simplified through rolls.

Each roll during a work session teaches Revvo your timing preferences. Over time, it adapts to your relative cognitive rhythm, so future focus blocks adjust smoothly and feel natural.

Distracted?

Session softens when focus dips.

Roll it to the Left

20% Decrease from baseline

Sound cues that guide, not distract

Revvo uses a two stage chime instead of a demanding alarm. A single soft chime marks the end of your block. If you are still in flow, do nothing and the session extends. A firmer double chime follows only after sustained work as a protective hard stop against burnout.

Session Completed?

Roll it to the Back

Or want to Extend?

Continue with your flow by doing nothing.

Need to Pause?

Flip upside down to pause – no reset, no penalty.
